Go from stressed to streamlined with ClickUp in just one day!


Welcome to We Make Systems Sexy! Hi there. Ashley here with We Make Systems Sexy. I am here to talk to you today about how you can go from stressed to streamlined with Clickup in just ONE day. Doesn’t that sound fabulous? Well, let’s dive into how that’s possible.

The first thing that you can focus on to go from stressed to streamlined with ClickUp is to start by identifying your priorities, taking some time to assess your business operations and identifying what those top priorities are, what tasks or projects are taking up the most time and causing the most stress.

Write all of that stuff down.

Start documenting where you’re at and what your pattern is in your business.

 

From there, you want to start to create what your workflow will be. Once you’ve identified those priorities, you can create your workflow in ClickUp to help you to be able to manage your task and projects more efficiently. Now this could include creating custom task lists, custom fields, setting the due dates, recurring due dates, shooting off things that automatically assign to specific team members, and so much more.

So much more is possible within ClickUp. And then from there, ClickUp has so many automations that are possible as well that you want to automate wherever it is possible within your workflows and the way that you work in your business.

Look for ways to automate repetitive tasks. Look for ways to remove yourself from the manual process of adding in task information, utilize the forms and then automate responses into the different lists where you want them to go as much as possible.

ClickUp offers a variety of automation features so you’re just going to want to make sure that you are taking advantage of the automations of recurring tasks, task dependencies, task relationships, things that can all help you to save time and energy and help you to actually stay organized.

The next thing is that ClickUp has templates so be sure to utilize those templates. Again, this is going to take you sitting down and actually identifying what those processes are and the things that you are constantly doing, even if it’s the way that you deliver a client service.

If you can build out a template, then you’re not going to have to think of those steps every single time. You’re not going to have to figure out who that gets assigned to every single time. You’ve already got that built out in a template. You just apply the template. Simple. So make sure that you utilize the checklist or the task template or the list template or so on and so forth, right? Just so many options.

This way you’re not missing any important steps in your workflows because you’ve already got it built out within ClickUp.

You’re also going to be able to collaborate with your team on specific tasks and projects that you have going on. ClickUp makes it really easy to collaborate with your team members within a certain task, especially if it’s taking more than one person to get that task done or that production pipeline done. And it keeps everybody on the same page.

We love to use the task comments particularly in my business. Right there within the task, in the activity section to the right, there is a place to add comments, and even send emails from within a task. And so much is possible right there where you can @ tag somebody to communicate directly, where you have all of the information stored so then you’re not communicating in Slack and they’re having to say, “Where is that again?” And they have to go in and try and locate it within ClickUp to find all the information you’re communicating where it’s most relevant to be communicating about it.

By following these steps and using the features and tools that are offered by ClickUp, you can go from stressed to streamlined and manage your business operations more efficiently. So who’s not down for that?
